The Battle of Columbus

Okay had no idea how amazing but tragic the battle of Columbus was. The battle of Columbus happened for many reasons and a few being the end of the civil war, it was the last battle. At the end of the war Lee surrendered but due to the telegraph being broke there was no one to hear them surrender. Since Wilson didn’t know he went on with his battle and some effects of the battle of Columbus was Coca-Cola. You may be wondering how, well John Stith Pemberton was in the war and was injured. Since he was injured he was given morphine and then got addicted to pain killers.
