This class has changed my writing like fr changed not only how I write but like the process of it. This class has introduced a new way of writing to me. It has taught me structure and to pay attention to the smaller things. Although when reading these blogs it may not look like it because I will forever be illiterate. But, in all honesty this course has taught me patience when researching and writing. The outline is a life saver and a time saver. Iv’e never personally liked to write but after it was broken down step by step the process became easier and more pleasant for me. Usually when I write I stray from the topic and it pretty much destroys my paper but with the outline I’ve learned to stay on track. One challenge I’ve overcome is just writing in general. I can not stand writing but this class has made it semi tolerable.

This class has flown by, we have written a lot of papers and I think my best experience yet would have been my essay about local theaters. This was personally a great experience because I was actually interested in the topic. I personally don’t think that I have had a bad experience writing in this class. There weren’t many assignments in this class just small things to keep the ball rolling which i thoroughly enjoyed because i get bored easily. Although the small assignments kept me on top of things they could be a bit stressful like that darn annotated bib.. The only mistake that has cost me big is the lack of effort i put into my annotated bib. This causing me to put in extra work re reading my sources that is not really necessary.

Currently writing an argumentative essay on vaccinations. During my research I found one source that had pros and cons of vaccinations. This source was incredibly helpful because it gave insight on both sides of the argument. The source talks about why parents think vaccinations are harmful and that they do more harm than good. That vaccinations cause fatal side effects and that ingredients are bad for you. But, they also state that its rare with the side effects and that the ingredients are only bad in large doses but vaccines are small doses. This source gives the pros of the vaccinations like being cost efficient and preventing diseases. Vaccinations also protect the community/ population by preventing diseases from spreading from one person to the next.

Recently iv’e seen posts about zoos and the circus. Zoos and circuses are fun in theory until you realize what they actually put the animals through. They are awful for animals and its border line animal abuse. Some of these animals live in cages for their whole lives, just imagine yourself in a cage your whole life. Not only that but they get treated miserably some barely get fed. With the circus they go under awful and abusive training to get animals to do certain things like a bear riding a skateboard. For a second I thought that I just felt like that because I love animals but there are facts to prove how awful they actually are. What other way is there to train a animal to do a trick.

All I have to say is that I’m flipping funny! Literally as I am writing this at work a customer said “no u can keep the two cents” I then responded with ” lol you don’t want my two cents” that is comedy gold! I think I forget how motivated and hard working I am. I spend majority of my time getting ahead and trying to be the best i can be at whatever i do because that’s just me. Recently I got promoted to assistant manager at my work and I have been here less than a year. People ask how? and wow you’re only 18 and a manager. I worked my butt off for this! I cam in early, when I was’t scheduled, did more than our previous AM and it has finally paid off and I’m very happy and excited about this. The owner of the store actually is helping me learn about business and owning one as I want to open a Franchise from Oregon down here and be rich… lol just kidding (but not really). Not only am I a hard worker I’m funny, not really but I make myself laugh which if owning a business doesn’t work out, i will then pursue my career as a stand up comedian.

Oh goodness the types of college students. There are tons of types of college students but the only ones I’ve encountered are the smart on top of it ones then of course the party people and lastly the people who just don’t want to be here. Students who are all invested in college, eat and sleep college like they are so involved with school always doing their homework on time and even sometimes in advance. While the party people do it the morning before its due and the others just doesn’t do it at all. Now personally i consider myself all of the above but mainly the class clown. I have always been one to just shout what i’m thinking and make very funny, sarcastic remarks. But the downside to this is no one ever takes me serious but hey, as destiny’s child would say “I’m a survivor”. In the end most of the people I have encountered get their stuff done and “keep on survivin”.

The classic Phenix City Story about good old sin city. When i first learned about sin city i was surprised I didn’t know that Phenix City was known for anything other than being near Columbus. To be honest I didn’t even know who Albert Patterson was before this. But, now that i do know him I can thank him (even though he dead) for the clean up even though he wasn’t alive to see it… Any who with the amount of crimes and murders there is no telling how many bodies are in the Chattahoochee, which is so nasty. These bodies have just been sitting there for hundreds of years just soaking. To think of it they probably have broken down by now just bones which is even nastier because their fle.. okay not important. I think it is very cool though that our city was once bad.
