Carson McCullers

Carson McCullers was a very talented writer, she grew up in Columbus, Georgia which I think she based all of her stories off of. The reason she based her stories based off of loneliness and isolation was probably because she experienced that in her life, I don’t think she had anyone to relate to/ connect with. Being in a small town played a role because I guess there wasn’t many writers there or people that understood her. like her one story about the love triangle i just know was based off the affairs she had with her husband and husband had with her. Turns out Carson McCullers and her husband were both bisexuals and cheated on one another. But, it was weird because they got remarried like, if it didn’t work the first time i wouldn’t try again… Also she had a very sad death but in the end she was a trooper.
